chat-recall documentation
chat-recall reads the session transcripts that Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, OpenCode, Antigravity, Hermes and Pi write to your disk, redacts the secrets in them, and syncs them to one server. Your assistants then search and use that history through the chat-recall MCP server.
It has two parts. The CLI runs on each of your machines and does the reading. The server stores and searches, either the hosted service at chatrecall.dev or one you run yourself with Docker Compose and Postgres.
